POOL RULES

Attire: Swim suits are required in the pool. No

wheels of any kind are allowed on the tennis

courts or pool deck. Not only is this dangerous,

but it will damage the tennis courts.

Car Safety: Please remember to watch your

speed and drive safely as you approach the club.

This is a residential area with lots of children

playing outside or walking to the club. The speed

limit is 25 throughout our neighborhood.

Children: Parents are responsible for their

children’s safety while at the pool. Children

under 10 must be with an adult in the water unless they have passed the basic swim test. Children 10 and over, that have passed the swim test, are allowed to attend the pool without a parent on the premises. Please remember to watch your child closely while in the water and

on the pool property.

Children not yet potty trained must wear tight-

fitting rubber pants. Swim diapers alone are not

acceptable. If you have any questions about

appropriate pants please ask a manager. The

elastic must be tight enough to not let anything

seep out into the pool. If there is an accident

involving feces in the pool, the pool must be shut

down for 24 hours. Please help us avoid this!

Parents of young children should encourage

them to use the bathroom frequently.

Please review the guest policy and other rules

with your children.

Toys: Water guns can only be used in the pool or the playground, not in or around the bath-house or snack bar.

Floats are not allowed in the deep end.

Food & Beverages: No glass containers of any

kind are allowed inside the pool gates,

playground or deck. Alcoholic beverages are only

permitted on the pool deck during certain

socials where the pool is closed to swimming.

Guests: SPSTC is a membership club.

Membership includes only anyone living in your

household. The guest fee is $3 per person, per

day; members bringing guests must conform to

the rules that appear in the attached “Rules and

Regulations.” Please take the time to review

these rules regarding guests.

Lost & Found: Articles not claimed will be

removed from the pool premises on the first of

each month. No socks, undergarments or hair

accessories will be kept if left behind. Jewelry

items will be kept in the pool office. Please

check frequently for your family’s lost items.

Parties: As explained in the Guest Rules, a party

consists of four (4) or more guests with an adult

member. Parties must be booked at least two

weeks in advance. We must have appropriate

lifeguards scheduled to ensure the safety of our

pool.

Tennis: The tennis courts are available on a first-come, first-served policy, with certain groups having precedence at pre-scheduled times.

Contact tennis pro Henry Eustache at 704-756-

8445 if you have any questions.

Tennis Leagues: We are always looking for more players to add to our Queen City teams. Please contact Laura if you are interested.

Thunder Policy: In the event of thunder or

lightning, the pool will be closed for swimming

for 30 minutes. During this time, children will

not be allowed on the playground or on the pool

deck for safety reasons.

Trash: Please throw away all trash. Please

remind your children to do the same – especially

on the playground. Lifeguards are not

responsible for picking up our trash.
